My self initiated project´s (SIP) aim is the inclusion of the community of blind people to music and through Design. I produced a 3D printed prototype for a CD case in braille language. The cover has been 3D modulated forgetting as much as I could about visual orientations, but exploring physical characteristics. Not to be seen, but to be touched.

Its intention is to give the chance to someone who is blind to have a CD collection as anybody else who wants to collect music in a physical format, to be stored and exposed to suit the needs of a blind person.

The albums I decided to use were; ``Night drive´´by Chromatics and ``Only hits´´by Oasis.

 

This is a personal work in progress that I will take to the next level, make it practical and financially affordable, by the exploration of different techniques and principles.
